We have over 20 years experience working with animals backed by a foundation degree in animal welfare. The Bone Rangers was established in 2013, we love our job as much as we did back then…more so if that is even possible.

Learn a little about us...
We have thoroughly enjoyed 7 joyous years of caring for your pets.
Many of our regular clients have asked Andy if he will train their dogs to stop unwanted behaviours, however, even though he doesn’t train dogs anymore, our customers are always amazed at how well behaved their pups are after a stay with us.
Often pulling on lead can be halted with some easy training which is second nature to Andy . Andy’s time in the RAF saw him training attack dogs, don’t worry, he never teaches them that trick. Andy’s skill set allows him to read dogs instantly and helps us avoid any unrest.

Hi, I’m Sarah…
My love for animals started at a young age and over the years we’ve had family dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs. I can remember looking after my aunties hamster at a young age and I always knew I wanted to work with animals. It took me a little longer to get where I wanted to be but after returning to college aged 28, I studied and passed with merit, my foundation degree in Animal Welfare and Husbandry.
I wanted to start my own business in dog walking and decided to go back to school and get my degree. Once I had finished my studies I created a business plan and I launched The Bone Rangers in 2013, I have never looked back since. I love my job and my husband loves it too…how could he not when he used to be a Police Dog Handler in the Royal Air Force for 10 years. In all fairness he has more physical knowledge of dogs compared to me but united we make the perfect team!
Your pooches new best friends
A little about our pups...
During our time as dog walkers we’ve rescued two dogs Oscar and Ticka who became our family pets. Oscar was 11 when we rescued him and he was very set in his ways. He liked the lion’s share of the sofa and as a Weimaraner he took up a fair bit of space.
Ticka however, isn’t precious where she sleeps, in fact her Game of Thrones name is “Ticka stealer of beds”. Whether we have a Great Dane or a Chihuahua staying she will squeeze herself into their bed. At the grand old age of 15 now she feels it’s her right.
